Governor AbdulRazaq Mourns Queen Goni Sulu-Gambari, Commiserates With Emir
Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has expressed sadness over the death of Her Royal Highness, Queen Halimat Goni Soba Sulu-Gambari, one of the widows of the late 9th Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness Alhaji (Dr) Zulqarnain Gambari Mohammed.
In a condolence message, Governor AbdulRazaq described the late queen as a woman who exemplified the grace, excellence and generosity associated with royalty.
The governor extended his heartfelt condolences to the Emir of Ilorin, Dr Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, members of the immediate royal family and the people of Ilorin Emirate over the loss.
AbdulRazaq prayed to Allah to grant the deceased Al-Jannah Firdaus and give the royal family the strength and patience to bear the loss.
