Security Forces Repel Bandit Attack on Share Community
Security forces on Sunday repelled an attack by suspected bandits on Share community, the headquarters of Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The assault, which occurred on Sunday evening, reportedly triggered panic among residents as armed men invaded the town.
Local security sources disclosed that the attackers engaged a combined team of security operatives in a fierce exchange of gunfire that lasted for about one hour.
The coordinated response by the security personnel was said to have successfully forced the assailants to retreat.
As of the time of filing this report, there were no confirmed cases of abduction or fatalities.
Authorities are reportedly monitoring the situation closely, while residents have been urged to remain vigilant.
