Massive Turnout as Kwara Literacy Programme Learners Sit for Proficiency Examination
An examination was organised today to assess the proficiency and learning progress of participants enrolled in the state's literacy programmes.
The exercise, held today, recorded a significant turnout of learners from various centres across the state.
During a monitoring visit to several examination centres, the Executive Director of the Agency, Mallam Yusuf Saka, encouraged learners to aim higher and remain proactive in their educational pursuit.
He described the examination as a major milestone in their academic journey and urged them to continue striving for excellence. He also reminded participants that education is a lifelong process and emphasised that it is never too late to learn or improve oneself.
Mallam Saka explained that the examination covered multiple subjects, including literacy, numeracy, and general studies, stressing that these were designed to assess learners' abilities and qualify them for certification upon successful completion.
He added that the initiative is expected to boost learners' confidence and motivate them to give their best in future academic endeavours. He further stated that the Agency plans to organise additional educational programmes aimed at enhancing literacy levels among youths and adults in the state.
These initiatives, he noted, align with the Kwara State Government's commitment to empowering individuals and communities while fostering overall development. He also commended the learners for their dedication and commitment to their studies.
