Kwara Commissioner for Education Lauds Teachers as Third Term Begins Amid Governor's Reforms
Dr. Lawal Olohungbebe, Kwara State's Honourable Commissioner for Education, has extended warm greetings to teachers and staff across the state as schools resume for the third term, acknowledging their role as critical stakeholders in Kwara's education system.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Dr. Olohungbebe praised educators for their dedication and urged continued collaboration to advance Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq's education reforms. He also announced the release of an approved academic calendar for both public and private schools, ensuring a seamless transition into the new term.
"We appreciate the commitment of our teachers, staff, and our partners, including proprietors of private schools thus far. We are confident they will continue to give their best as we nurture our children for a brighter future," the statement read.
The Commissioner also urged teachers to strictly adhere to the approved calendar and comply with all educational guidelines issued by the ministry.
