Nigerians Should Defend Peace - Ahmed

Date: 2013-01-25

As Muslims mark the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), the governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, has charged all Nigerians to be vanguards for peace and love one another through their deeds and fervent prayers.

In a message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Alhaji Abdulwahab Oba, on the occasion of the celebration of the birth of Holy Prophet Muhammad, the governor said Muslims should at all times emulate the prophet who he described as an embodiment of virtues and exemplary character for mankind.

He urged the Muslim Ummah to imbibe the enduring qualities of Prophet Muhammad by being good neighbours to all, without religious or ethnic biases.
