Spark From Power Surge Razes Building In Kwara
A building of about seven rooms has been gutted by fire in Kwara State.
The incident, it was gathered, happened on Tuesday at Tinu Street, Sobi road, Ilorin East LGA of the state.
The head of the media of the Fire Service, Hassan Hakeem Adekunle, attributed the cause to a fire surge, adding that properties worth millions of naira were lost in the incident which affected parts of the building.
“But we were able to save about N43.3 million worth of properties.
“The Director of the state fire service, Prince Falade John Olumuyiwa, urged the citizens to always cultivate the habit of switching off their electrical appliances even before bedtime.
