The result of the promotional examination conducted on Saturday by the Kwara State Teaching Service Commission will be released today.

The commission conducted the yearly promotional examination on Saturday for 2,715 of its teaching and non-teaching staff in Kwara State who were due for promotion. They represented those in levels 7 to 16.

Speaking with newsmen at St Anthony's School, one of the centres for the examination, the Chairman of the Kwara State Teaching Service Commission, Honourable Umar Mahmud Aboki, informed that the examination became necessary to elevate the staff members who were due for promotion.

He added that this would give the commission ample opportunity to test the ability of the candidates to ascertain that they would live up to expectation if they get to the aspired levels.
