KWASU Gets New Chancellor

The Kwara State Government has approved the appointment of Dr. J.B.O Adewumi as the new chancellor of Kwara State University, Malete.

This was contained in a letter of appointment signed by the Kwara State Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Science and Technology, Hajia Sa'adatu Modibbo on May 15, 2020.

The appointment is a single 5-year term and takes immediate effect.

Dr. Adewumi is the proprietor of Thomas Adewumi College and University and Asiwaju of Oko-Irese in Irepodun local government.
