KAM Holdings donates N20m to Kwara to prevent Convid-19

Date: 2020-04-04

The KAM Holdings, an indigenous manufacturer of iron and steel products, has donated N20 million to Kwara Technical Committee on COVID-19 to prevent the spread of the pandemic in the state.

Dr Kamari Yusuf, its Group Managing Director, while making the donation on Friday at Ilorin, admonished Nigerians to ensure strict compliance with government's restrictions on movement.

"In order to stay safe and healthy, Kwarans must stay home and maintain public and personal hygiene as directed by health officials as COVID-19 is real and wreaking havoc globally," he said.

Yusuf said that he donated the money to the Technical Committee on COVID-19 to support and prevent the spread of Coronavirus disease in the state.

"Since the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria, various measures have been adopted by the Federal Government toward preventing the spread of the infectious disease beyond control.

"Serious search for contacts of infected persons is also being intensified," Yusuf said.
