A 24-year old woman, Esther Titus, has been dragged before an Ilorin Area Court for intentional insult and breach of peace.

Esther was arraigned in court on a four-count charge of criminal and intentional insult with intent to provoke, breach of peace, criminal intimidation and inciting disturbance, contrary to sections 348, 399, 397 and 114 of penal code law.

The Police First Information Report (FIR) revealed that one Funmilayo Bolajoko "F" of Offa Garage Area, Ilorin, reported at the Area Commander's Office, Ilorin, that one Esther Titus of Offa Garage area, Ilorin criminally trespassed into her work place at Lady Funko Bakery situated at Offa Garage, Ilorin.

The FIR revealed further that the accused intentionally insulted the plaintiff, and also intimidated her that she (the plaintiff) will not have peace in the area until she leaves the area for the sake of the accused.

The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the allegation leveled against her.

The Prosecuting Counsel, Corporal Lukman Adenigba, said, he has no objection to the bail of the accused, provided she has a surety that resides within the jurisdiction of the court.

The Presiding Judge, Honourable Yusuf Abdulkareem in his ruling, granted the accused person bail in the sum of N3,000 with a surety in the like sum, and adjourned the case till 15th of October, 2012
