The people of Offa community  have been urged to shun disingenious aproach to manipulation of information by some politicians to suit their desired goals of incitement in wake of the judgment of the Kwara state Election Petitions Tribunal which nullified the January 12, 2011 re-run election of Prince Saheed Popoola as Chairman of Offa Local Government Area.

This call was made by a prominent politician and community leader, Alh.(Chief) Kayode Hakeem Adebiyi during the weekend in a press release, stating that the people of Offa are one; "we are related to each other in one way or the other," he stated, urging the public to shun bitter rivalries.

He urged the people to be law abiding and see the rule of law as the most civilized option of addressing ones grievances, which what the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has done, adding that the victory is coming at this critical period when the area is desirous of developmental projects by the local government council to compliment the state government projects.

The statement further expressed appreciation to the government of Kwara state for all the laudable projects in the area,especially the hospital project and the recent approval of the Anilelerin road  and Avalon road which links Ira road.

Adebiyi further thanked Senator Abubarkar Bukola Saraki for his visionary leadership of the party and expressed the readiness of the PDP in Offa to compliment his efforts by wining back Offa Local Government Area for the PDP anytime the election is fixed.
