Easter Celebration: Kwara Govt ?Cancels Monthly Sanitation

Date: 2018-03-30

The Kwara State Government has announced the cancellation of the usual monthly sanitation so as to enable Christians in the state to have a hitch free Easter celebration

This was contained in a statement signed by Press Secretary Ministry of Environment and Forestry Mr Gbenga Ishola ?a copy of which made available to Westernpost in Ilorin on Friday.

"This is to inform the general public that the monthly environmental sanitation exercise for the month of March, which specifically is scheduled to hold tomorrow Saturday 31st, has been postponed due to the ongoing Easter festive across the country, as such will enable our Christian brothers and sister to have a hitch free Easter celebration.

"In view of this, Kwarans are therefore urged to observe the exercise at their various homes and other necessary areas of their environments in order to have a clean and hygienic environment" the statement reads."

The statement however wish Christian brethren both at home and in the diaspora a prosperous Easter celebration.
