Kwara State Governor, Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed (Sai Maigida) commissioned the phase-1 of the 1000 Unit Maigida Housing Estate at, Budo Osho, Ilorin.

The commissioning which was part of the activities to mark the 50th anniversary of the creation of Kwara.

It would be recalled that Governor Ahmed did the foundation laying of the 1000 Maigida Housing Estate at Budo Osho for 700 three bedroom and 300 two bedroom detached bungalows on March 7th, 2016.

The Maigida Housing Estate under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development received utmost attention as it remained a priority of Governor Ahmed to provide affordable housing for the people of Kwara.

The Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Muideen Alalade applauded His Excellency, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, for the success recorded in the project and also appreciated all the staff of the ministry and its agencies: Kwara Housing Coorporation; Town Planning and Development Authority; and the staff of the Surveyor Generals Office, for putting in their best to deliver the phase-1 of the project for commissioning in the shortest period possible.
