Nigeria National League (NNL) side Kwara United, were ruthless in the round of 64 of the Federation Cup when they smashed Galadima Best 7-0 in Abuja on Thursday.

The game was played at the Area 3 pitch in the Nigerian capital and the Ilorin club were all over their less-fancied opponents from the start. Segun Alebiosu, who netted a hat-trick, opened the scoring in the 13th minute before Taiwo Abdulrahman doubled the lead eight minutes later.

Twelve minutes before the break, Alebiosu was on hand for a second of the afternoon as Kwara United went three up after the first 45 minutes. It took only eight minutes into the restart for Kwara United to make it four-nil, as Alebiosu bagged his treble.

Sunday Odudu, Ahmed Jimoh and Michael Kasiemobi completed the rout for Kwara United as they reached the round of 32 in style. However, Dynamite FC went one better than Kwara United when they hit Damaturu FC 8-1.
