'Only cleared workers would get salaries in Kwara'
Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara State, has directed that workers' March and April salaries, as well as pensions of 24, 042 retirees, already cleared in the ongoing staff verification exercise be paid this week.
According to a statement issued by Alternate chairman of the state committee on Personnel Database Development, Isiaka Gold, the approval follows the final clearance of the affected workers and pensioners by the Nigerian Interbank Settlement System (NIBBS).
