A 29-year-old DSTV installer, Ahmed Saheed has died of internal injury he sustained following missiles of stones allegedly hauled at him by some guests from the premises of Peace Hotel, in Adewole area of Ilorin, Kwara state capital.

Ahmed reportedly slumped while making report at the Adewole police station, Ilorin from where he was rushed to a private hospital but was confirmed dead on arrival.

His body had been deposited at the Ilorin General Hospital as the deceased's family await autopsy report before they could be released to them for burial.

Daily Times gathered that a disagreement ensued on Tuesday between management of the Peace Hotel, located along police road in Adewole, and members of Okesuna community where the deceased was a resident over allegation that some people threw faeces into the hotel premises.

And in return, guests who were said to be relaxing at the hotel at that time of the incident, allegedly responded by hauling missiles of stones which allegedly hit the diseased where he was seating down making a phone call.

The development it was further gathered caused pandemonium in the area as youths of the community mobilised themselves and reported the matter at the Adewole police station.

The deceased was said to have fainted few minutes after he was hit on the head by the stone.
