Badminton World Federation Devt Project

The Kwara State Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, Bolakale Ayo, in Ilorin on Thursday said that the ministry has approved the release of Tunde Kazeem to oversee the Badminton World Federation Developmental Project Shuttle Time.

The Badminton Federation of Nigeria (BFN) had recently appointed Tunde Kazeem, National Coordinator for Badminton World Federation Developmental Project Shuttle Time.

The appointment was contained in a letter dated March 14, addressed to the Kwara Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development.

The letter also requested the ministry to release Kazeem to oversee the Shuttle Time Programmes in Kwara, Katsina and Ekiti states beginning from March 20 to March 24.

He will also attend a workshop for all Shuttle Time National Coordinators in Africa, scheduled to hold in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from Friday, April 1 to April 4.

Kazeem is the Kwara Director of Sports and the chairman Nigeria Directors of Sports forum.

The Shuttle Time Project is a programme aimed at ensuring the game of Badminton becomes a core subject in schools curriculum all over the world.
