The Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Dr Ali Ahmad is to participate in a two-day national dialogue on economy and development holding in Abuja .

Statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the State House of Assembly, Abdul Rahman Sanni said Ahmad who is expected to share his wealth of experience in legal and legislative matters at the national dialogue being organised by the National Assembly.

The forum will provide a platform for stakeholders to engage and interact on the current economic challenges confronting the nation and explore way to rehabilitate and reconstruct social and economic infrastructure in the country.

The event facilitated by the National Institute of Legislative Studies is aimed at demonstrating the role of Legislature in promoting good governance and its wider role in steering the Nigerian economy.

Ahmad was recently invited by the International Law Institute, Washington DC in the United States of America to speak on this year's Seminar tagged "Legislative Strategic Management for Parliamentarians and Bill and Malinda Gates Foundation.
