The deputy speaker, Mathew Okedare who presided over the plenary while reading the resolution of the assembly noted the need for urgent implementation of the Child Rights Law in Kwara.
This, the members noted would give the children a sense of belonging and eliminate anti-social behaviours among them.
The assembly directed the state ministries of Social Welfare, Youths and Sports and Environment to constitute a joint task force to monitor the activities of recording studios in the state.
The legislature also directed the affected ministries to produce jingles in electronic media on the danger of young children loitering around recording studios in all parts of the state.
The assembly advised parents and guardians in the state to closely monitor the activities of their children and wards and caution them against standing on road sides to watch films at recording studios.
