Warri Wolves Aiming for the Top against Kwara Utd

Date: 2015-07-29

Gbolahan Salami will return to Warri Wolves' starting line-up in today's Glo Premier League rescheduled Match Day Nine fixture against Kwara United at the Ilorin Township Stadium.

The Delta team was red hot against Elkanemi Warriors in another rescheduled game last Sunday, firing five unreplied goals into the net of the visitors.

Warri Wolves who sit in fourth position on the log will move to third and within two points of leaders Sunshine Stars and second placed Enyimba should they beat Kwara United.

Salami who has scored eight goals for the Seasiders this season, missed the El-kanemi massacre due to a hand injury. He has however recuperated from the minor injury and will lead Wolves attack against the Harmony Warrior with the hope of increasing his goal tally.

Media Officer of the side, Moses Etu, revealed during the week that the former Shooting Stars hit-man is fully fit for the encounter. "Salami is ready for the game against Kwara United.

"He missed the game against El Kanemi due to hand injury, but he is ready to play again," Etu hinted.
