Expert Tasks Vehicles Operators on Third Party Insurance Cover
The Chief Executive Officer of Royal Chambers Insurance Brokers, Mr. Gafar Alamu has urged private and commercial vehicle operators to endeavour to insure their vehicles against third party insurance cover so as to forestall future calamities.
Speaking with journalists in Ilorin on the third party insurance cover for vehicle owners, Alamu also cautioned the operators against patronising vendors of fake third party insurance cover in order to assist them claim genuine benefit.
The chief executive officer who spoke against the backdrop of recent compensation of a sum of N96,228, to accident victim in Osogbo, Osun state capital, Alhaji Yusuf Gazali by the consortium of underwriters with Mutual Assurance said that, ?the compensation to the victim has showed that, the benefit of having insurance cover on any property worth insured especially against any misfortune.
Alamu whose company facilitated the payment of the compensation to the victim through Mutual Assurance Plc said that, there was no doubt that, the company would continue to work harder in the bid to provide qualitative third party insurance cover to any private or commercial vehicle operators in the country especially members of the NURTW so as to bring new lease of life to the beneficiaries.
?He said his company had been working with the members of NURTW nationwide so as to cater for the members benefits in the pursuant of any calamities that may affect them during the course of their daily operations on the nation's roads through third party insurance cover.
Alamu? however called on Nigerians to endeavour to insure their property against any future calamities so as to add values to their socio well being in the nearest future.
On his part, Executive Director of Mutual Assurance Plc, Mr. Gbenga Ogunko commended the leadership of NURTW for rising to the welfare of their members through the third party insurance cover for them.
Also speaking, the Osun state chairman of NURTW, Alhaji Isiaka Afolabi said that, there were lot of benefit acrrued to any person that insured his or her vehicles against group third party motor insurance scheme.
He said the development would assist the victim to protect them against any risk of liabilities for death, bodily damage, property and their vehicles on the roads.
Responding, the beneficiary, Yusuf thanked the leadership of NURTW and the management of Mutual Assurance Plc for compensating him over the damaged of his car, however, enjoined members of the public to take interest on insurance cover so as to protect them against any future risky.
