Kwara House removes principal officers

All the principal officers of the Kwara State House of Assembly have been removed. This does not include the Speaker, Alh Abdulrazaq Atunwa and the Deputy Speaker.

The sacking of the principal officers may not be unconnected with the recent petition against the Speaker written by the former Chief Whip Alhaji Iliasu Ibrahim. Not a few were surprised at the speed with which the House Committee on Ethics, Privileges, Public Service and Judiciary cleared the speaker of all the allegations.
