Shehu Abdulgafar Appointed Chairman of Quranic Recitation Committee
Alhaji Sheu Abdulgafar, the Dan Madami of Ilorin and former Secretary to the State Government, replaces the former chairman of the Committee, Malam Abdulsalam Ayinla Ayilara, who passed away recently.
Approving the appointment, Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed said he took into consideration Alhaji Abdulgafar's track record of experience and his deep interest in Quranic education.
Alhaji Ahmed wished the new Chairman a fruitful and rewarding tenure in task of promoting Arabic recitation and education in the state.
