Tunde Yusuf 2014/15 Foundation Scholarship Award for KWASU Students
This is to invite qualified KWASU students to apply for the Tunde Yusuf Foundation Scholarship for the 2014/2015 Academic Session. The Tunde Yusuf Foundation is instituted by Alhaji Tunde Yusuf,Proprietor, Joint Komputer Kompany (JKK) for students of Kwara State University who study for undergraduate degree programs in any of the following colleges:
a) College of Pure and Applied Sciences
b) College of Engineering and Technology
c) College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine
d) College of Information and Communication Technology
1. Eligibility:
a) Students must be indigenes of Ilorin Emirate – Ilorin South, Ilorin East, Ilorin West, Asaand Moro local Government Areas of Kwara State.
b) Students must obtain not less than the following Cumulative Grade Points Average (CGPA)
SECOND YEAR: CGPA 2.8
THIRD YEAR: CGPA 3.0
FOURTH YEAR: CGPA 3.0
FIFTH YEAR: CGPA 3.0
2. Numbers of scholarship and value
Twenty (20) scholarships will be awarded for the 2014/2015
Academic Session to males and females students of Ilorin Emirate. The Scholarship Award is N100, 000.00 only per student and is renewable based on performance.
How to apply:
i. Write an essay of 500 words on what you like best about your course.
ii. Write a letter to the undersigned explaining why you think you deserve to be awarded a scholarship and how this fund will assist you in your academic pursuit.
iii. Submit the print out of your academic Result/Transcript and three letters of reference: from your HOD and two other KWASU academic staff who have taught you.
The DEADLINE for the submission of the above documents to the undersigned is Thursday7th August, 2014 at Registrar’s Office, Admin Block. All applications must contain applicant’s full name (first name, middle name and last name), phone number and email address. The application must be sealed and addressed to the undersigned.
