Kwara Assembly to hold valedictory for deceased lawmaker
The Kwara State House of Assembly will tomorrow hold a valedictory session for the member representing Kaiama/Wajibe/Kemanji, Haliru Mohammed Idris, who died on Saturday after a protracted illness.
Late Idris, 48, who was the son of a former senator, Haliru Idris, was buried at Ilorin in accordance with Islamic rites.
Speaking with Daily Trust, spokesman of the House, Adamu Sabi, said the valedictory session in honour of the deceased would be held on tomorrow.
Meanwhile, former governor of the state, Senator Bukola Saraki, has paid a condolence visit to father of the deceased lawmaker.
