A pressure group in Kwara State chapter of Peoples Democratic Party, Freedom Group, has declared its support for President Goodluck Jonathan's re-election bid and called on him to declare his interest for 2015 presidential election.

In a communique released after its meeting held in Offa, Kwara State and signed on behalf of the group by Tajudeen Abdulkareem, the group said it was committed to ensure total freedom of the state from the four decades of political leadership bastardisation and oppression.

While praising President Jonathan over his efforts at addressing the national security challenges facing the nation, it pledged to support the state PDP, mobilize and work diligently for the president's victory at the pools.

It also acknowledged the pragmatic political moves by the national leadership of the PDP led by Dr. Adamu Mu'azu in its judicial quest to re-instate the PDP officials and candidates in Kwara State local government council elections in the October 2013 elections.

"We appreciate, recognise and support the leadership roles played by Hajia Bola Shagaya and encourage her to continue the good works in the best interest of Kwara State, the PDP and the nation, to ensure that our stolen mandate is regained in 2015."
