The inaugural meeting was held at the party secretariat in Ilorin, today.

In a statement issued by its Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Sulyman Buhari, the newly elected chairman, Alhaji Ishola Balogun Fulani emphasised the need for executive members to tolerate one another and charged executive members to manage the party as their personal properties.

"Alhaji Ishola balogun Fulani gave executive members the mandate to woo more Kwarans into the APC as there is room for all Kwarans in the APC and expressed determination to ensure APC wins all elections in Kwara State.

"The report of the State Congress Committee led by Alhaji Yinus Akintunde was reviewed. In the report, the committee commended Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed, Senator Bukola Saraki and the leadership of APC in Kwara State for ensuring peaceful and crises-free congresses in the state.

"The leadership of APC in Kwara State also commended party members and supporters for their peaceful conduct at the highly successful ward, local government and state congresses while assuring the people of Kwara State that their future are secured with the APC led government.", the statement read.
