The Kwara Police Command has deployed 3, 200 personnel to ensure peaceful ward congresses of the All Progressives Congress, APC, on Saturday.

The Commissioner of Police, Ambrose Asaibor, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria on Friday in Ilorin.

The police chief said officers and men had already been posted to the 193 wards in the state.

Mr. Asaibor said the Divisional Police Officers and Area Commanders in the state would also be on patrol to ensure smooth and peaceful conduct of the exercise.

He, however, assured the people of the state of adequate security of lives and property at all times.
