Support Kwara United to get to the promised land - Unuanel
Kwara United resumed from the World Cup break to record a very big win over visiting DSS from Kaduna in their week 19 National League encounter with five goals bashing on Wednesday.
Fielding questions from journalists after the game, Unuanel said he is trying to build a culture with fluid soccer and will facilitates easy scoring and the best Kwarans can do is to give their necessary support so that the team could get to the promised land.
He said “my type of game is not the type you may look at, I want to play well, I want my team to play well, I don’t want my team to score a goal and people will say it is a tanpatan jam goal and I have been working on this for the past two months.”
“In another two, three weeks you will see what I have been preaching. Now we can move the ball straight from the defence upfront, I am working on it.
I think we should have a culture, every team should have a culture, our culture is exactly what we have just seen and I want to build on it.”
Let us forget about the result, I loved the way the boys played, we have a debutant from Offa came in and scored. Somebody that have not play in the league before and he scored that shows that we are working.”
But what I am preaching is let us pray and support us fully well so that we get to the promise land, Unuanel stressed
In his reaction, DSS Coach described Kwara United as a Premier League team who are motivated to play well.
Kwara is currently in the second position with 33 points in Group B of the National League after Wednesday’s game.
