Kwara United targets promotion
The General Manager of Kwara United Football Club, Haruna Maigidansanma has assured fans of the club that the team has what it takes to regain promotion to the elite league by the end of this season.
He told our correspondent that the present technical crew of the club has done a lot of good job which made the team win three of their last seven matches; drawing two and losing two which he described as a good result.
According to him, their match against Jigawa Golden Stars today will bring out the best in the players even as he assured that their next home match against Niger Tornadoes will be an exciting one because the players have vowed to grab the three points at stake in that encounter.
“Our target is to gain promotion to the Premier League which is where we belong.
“There are already good signs that we are going to achieve that target because out of the seven matches we have played so far; we won three, drew two and lost two which is a good record”, he concluded
