Late Wali of Kaiama's virtues extolled at Fidau

All roads led to Kaiama, headquarters of Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State on Thursday for the Fidau of the late Wali of Kaiama, Alhaji Mohammed Bukar.

Politicians, Civil Servants, Businessmen and women, people from the traditional Institution as well as friends and well wishers of the deceased and his Children from all works of life attended the Fidau that ended with a heavy down pour.

Members of the Board of Directors, Managements and Staffs of The Herald newspapers were not left out of the colourful occasion in honour of the Corporation Secretary, Mrs Mairo Mohammed who is one of the daughters of the deceased.

The General Manager of the Corporation, Alhaji Abdulrazaq Adebayo led the management team made up of the Editor, The Herald on Sunday, Alhaji Jibril Issa; the Director of Accounts, Mr Azeez Salawu; the Circulation Manager, the Commercial Manager and the Printing Manager as well as the Chairman of the State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Abiodun Abdulkareem among others.

Different Islamic scholars who spoke on the occasion extolled the virtues of the deceased and prayed Allah to grant him Aljannatul Firdaus
