Ipata: Residents appeal for assistance as fire guts house
Some residents of Ipata area of Ilorin has appealed to good spirited Nigerians to come to their aid as their properties perished in the midday inferno that razed down a building along Ipata market about a week ago.
The residents made the appeal during a chat with Royal Times correspondent.
According to Mohammed Ali ,he received a distress phone call about his building which was on fire around 11:30 in the morning after which the fire brigades services were alerted.
Other eyewitness who spoke with our correspondent said they discovered smoke coming from the building then,prompted passers-by to swing into action to combat the raging inferno.
The residents while appealing to spirited Nigerians to come to their aids however, noted that no life was lost in the incidence adding that the cause of the fire could not be ascertained.
