The Deputy Speaker, Prof. Gana Yissa who presided over the plenary, praised the agency's effort for embarking on the exercise

The house noted that it would add to the aesthetics of the state capital and enhance free flow of traffic.

The legislators also directed the Town Planing Authority to be alive to its responsibility by ensuring that illegal structures were no more erected in all parts of the state.

The House directed its Committee on Housing and Urban Development to monitor the ongoing demolition exercise and report to the House.

In another resolution, the House urged the state Government to complete the electrification project at Shiya and Boriya in Baruten Local Government Area of the state.
