Kwara United Chairman Urges Squad to Stay focused ahead of new season
Kwara United Chairman, Mr. Kumbi Titiloye, has called on players and officials to maintain their intensity in training and strive to make Kwara State proud in the upcoming football season.
Titiloye made the charge during a surprise visit to the team's camp in Ikenne on Sunday, where the Harmony Boys are competing in the ValueJet Preseason Tournament.
He urged the squad to remain both mentally and physically prepared for the challenges ahead, commending their resilience and determination on the pitch.
"The journey has begun in earnest. Continue to train and retrain consistency is key," he said. "And know this: the management will continue to provide the necessary support every step of the way."
His visit comes on the back of a strong performance by the team, who bounced back from a narrow 2-1 defeat to Remo Stars in their opening match with a commanding 5-0 victory over Ikorodu City in their second fixture.
The emphatic win has boosted morale within the camp as the club fine-tunes its strategy ahead of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) kickoff.
