The Ilorin Emirate Grand Durbar Committee has announced that this year's edition of the annual cultural festival will be held at the Baseball Park in Adewole Housing Estate, Ilorin.

Engr. Suleiman Yahaya Alapansanpa, Chairman of the Committee, stated in a signed statement that the venue change was driven by the need to accommodate the growing number of attendees registered for the event.

The move to the Baseball Park aims to address capacity constraints as the festival continues to attract larger crowds, underscoring efforts to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for participants and spectators.

Yahaya explains that the Emir of Ilorin, Dr Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, approved the new venue.

He also thank the Governor of Kwara State and Sardauna of Ilorin, AbdulRahaman AbdulRazaq for granting the wish of the Committee to host the ceremony at the venue.

Yahaya charge indigenes and friends of Ilorin Emirate to turnout in large numbers to participate in the programme.

He also enjoined well-meaning individuals and corporate organisations to support the Committee to enable it to organise the most colourful edition of the festival so far.
