Governor AbdulRazaq Congratulates Kwara's Newly Elected LG Chairpersons, Praises APC's Victory
Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected 16 local government chairpersons and 193 councillors, praising their well-deserved victories in Saturday's local government elections.
The Governor also commended the leadership and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for their successful performance at the polls. He attributed the party's success to the achievements of his administration, the support of party members and stakeholders, and the strong relationships the APC has cultivated with the people of Kwara State.
Governor AbdulRazaq applauded the Kwara State Independent Electoral Commission and security agencies for ensuring a peaceful and highly successful election. He expressed confidence that insights gained from the exercise would enhance future elections in the state and across the country, especially as electoral commission leaders from other states observed the process.
The Governor further thanked Kwarans for their impressive voter turnout, their continued support for the APC, and their orderly conduct during the election. He also appreciated the participation and sportsmanship displayed by all political parties involved in the process.
