According to news reported by Royal News, the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has announced the appointment of two prominent traditional titles in Ilorin.

The Emir conferred the title of Dan Amana on Dr. AbdulKadir Tunji Nagode, the Executive Director of Finance at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), while Hon. Moshood Mustapha, a former member of the Federal House of Representatives, was appointed the Wakili of Ilorin.

These appointments reflect the Emir's recognition of their contributions to the community and their respective fields.

This is contained in a statement issued by the Emir's spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona. He noted that both appointees were honoured after critical assessment of their contributions to Ilorin Emirate and humanity in general

While formal turnbaning would be announced in due course, Alhaji Sulu-Gambari urged them to remain loyal and committed to growth and development of Ilorin Emirate, Kwara State and Nigeria at large.
