New Details Emerge on Kwara Pilgrim's Death: No Evidence of Suicide
According to a news report from Royal News, new facts have emerged regarding the circumstances surrounding the death of Hawawu Mohammed, a pilgrim from Kwara State, in Saudi Arabia.
Contrary to initial reports suggesting suicide, it has been clarified that the tragic incident occurred under different circumstances.
According to our source in Saudi Arabia, “Hajia Hawawu was a pilgrim from around Igbeti town in Oyo state but travelled with the Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Boards.
“She entered an elevator and pressed the last floor. When she got to the last floor and wanted to trek down, may be she didn't know the floor was upstairs. She rolled from that floor down 15 story building.”
The source added that, “People thought it was container or paper. Only to see human being on the floor. The staircase is dangerous. The rooftop is concrete and level.
“May be she thought she can find her way there. She didn't commit suicide, it is quite unfortunate and regrettable but we accept the verdict of Almighty Allah.”
