NPFL Reschedules Two Kwara United Fixtures
Two Kwara United fixtures in the ongoing 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has been rescheduled.
The matches are the outstanding Matchday 18 encounter against Heartland at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, and the Matchday 19 encounter against Sunshine Stars, at the Main-Bowl of the Kwara State Stadium Complex, Ilorin.
The Matchday 19 fixture, which was scheduled to hold on Sunday, January 21, 2024, has been moved to Saturday January 20, 2024, in Ilorin.
And the outstanding match with Heartland, which was earlier fixed for Saturday January 14, 2024, has been rescheduled for Thursday January 25, 2024, in Owerri.
The Heartland match was shifted from the original date because of the second term inauguration of Governor Hope Uzodinma, which took place at the venue on Monday January 15, 2024.
The Chief Operating Officer of the NPFL, Davidson Owumi charged the clubs to accord the technical team maximum cooperation, and to ensure necessary logistics are put in place for hitch-free games.
