Hon. Yunusa noted that he was willing to work and collaborate with the staff to improve the state of affairs in the Ministry.
The Commissioner stressed that the Ministry is capable of renewed creativity in its approach to handling matters concerning the affairs of youths in the state.
“I want to assure us that aside from the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC), we can also look into other creative youths-driven initiatives to motivate and encourage youths development in the State.
“There is a whole lot of dynamic inventiveness we can tap into, to showcase the usefulness and readiness of the Ministry to impart and advance the cause of youths”, he submitted.
The Commissioner also advised the staff to be proactive, expressing the need for them to be innovative in their approach to the daily activities of the Ministry.
Earlier, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Alh. Abdulrasak Babatunde Alabere, cautioned the staff to be wary of divulging official information concerning the Ministry to former appointees or politicians.

Alh. Alabere further urged the staff to be committed to their duties as government officials, urging them to be dedicated and responsible.
“His Excellency in his magnanimity has allowed us to come to work 3 days in a week, we should appreciate him for the opportunity, and not misuse the grace given to us by absconding from duty” he said.
“We should be aware of all this and take our jobs with utmost delight, because erring officials will be punished according to the rules of public service”, he noted.
The Director of Personnel Finance and Supply in her submission, mentioned that the Ministry was planning to have zonal offices across the State for citizens to be carried along with programmes initiated by the government for youths.
