The 2022 promotion examination for eligible Civil Servants from all Ministries, Departments and Agencies of Government across the state has been slated for November 8th – 11th, 2022 by the Kwara State Civil Service Commission.

The Chairman of the Civil Service Commission, Hajia Habibat Anike Yusuf stated that the promotion exercise will cover eligible Civil Servants who are due for 2022 promotion across MDAs with the aim of motivating and uplifting the dear serving Civil Servants in the state in line with the vision of the present administration of His Excellency; Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq.

According to the Commission Chairman, 2,069 Civil Servants will sit for promotion examination across MDAs and urge all Civil Servants to collect their examination slip from the staff officer of their various MDAs. The Chairman however warned that the Commission will not reschedule or organize Make-up Examination for any eligible Civil Servants, who may for any reason or the other miss the examination as schedule below:

The promotion examination schedules are as follows;
GL- 07-09 Tuesday 8th November. 2022 /12-2pm
GL- 10-12 Wednesday 9th November. 2022/12-2pm
GL -13-16 Thursday 10th November. 2022/12-2pm

SPECIAL GROUP GL- 17 Friday 11th November. 2022/10am-12noon.

She also stated that, the promotion examination will take place at Staff Development College, Ilorin. The Commission enjoin all the affected Civil Servants to report at the examination centre at least , two hours before the commencement of the examination with their examination slips ,any Service ID Card and writing materials.

Furthermore, the Chairman stated that the oral interview will commence on Tuesday 15th November 2022 beginning from 8:30am daily which would cover officers from GL 07-GL17 and would last for about four weeks.

Also, she advised that all the affected officers are to come with their original certificate, service ID Card, approval of study leave(If any), evidence of change of Name, Letter of first appointment, Letter of Gen.40, Letter of last promotion, Letter of confirmation and NYSC certificate or exemption accordingly.

Hajia Habibat Yusuf, expressed her profound appreciation to His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq for approving and providing fund for the conduct of the promotion exercise which will restore the pride and glory of the Civil Service in the state.
