2023: Bolaji Abdullahi Joins Kwara Central Senatorial Race
He presented his letter of intent to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ward executive during Ubandawanki Ward meeting.
Former Minister of Youths and Sports, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, has signified his intention to run for the Kwara Central senatorial district under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)come 2023.
Already, the former minister yesterday visited his Ubadanwaki ward in Ilorin West Local Government Council Area of the state to inform the members of the ward on his intention.
Abdullahi, a former Editor with THISDAY newspaper and fondly called by his political supporters in the state, “Omoluabi” was accompanied by his teeming supporters during his visit to his ward.
Also, the aspirant will today submit his letter of intention to the state secretariat of the PDP, in Ilorin before further consultations in the ambition.
The former minister, who was beaming with smiles told the gathering that, he possessed outstanding qualities that can make him represent the people of the Kwara Central senatorial district at the red chamber come next elections.
He said that he would also provide qualitative representation for the senatorial if given the mandate.
Abdullahi, however, said that the people of the senatorial deserve good representation so as to bring more dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of the senatorial.
