In a bid to ensure that all communities in kwara have access to clean portable water and its consistent supply, kwara state government has again fulfilled the promise recently made to the School of Special Needs, as water project is completed.

You would recall that one of the top complaints to the government by the school authority during a working visit to the area by the honourable Commissioner of water resources few weeks ago, was lack of pipe borne water supply in the school.

The honourable Commissioner for Water Resources, Alhaji Abdulwahab Femi Agbaje, while responding to their plea, expressed the total commitment of Governor Abdurahman Abdurasaq to provision of quality, clean and potable water to every community in the state. He assured them of this administration's concern for the people of special needs.

Today , as promised, Kwara state school of special needs situated at Apata Yakuba area in Ilorin East has been provided with pipe borne water.

Speaking with the newsmen in the school premise today Hon. Agbaje noted that one of the cardinal objectives of the government is to ensure adequate water supply to all the nook and cranny of the state.

"as we are considering people, we found it very necessary to extend the largesse of government to the people of special needs. Since its establishment in 1974, this school has not been connected for water supply.

While responding the vice principal of the school appreciated the governor and government of Kwara state for its prompt response to their needs. Agbaje therefore implored Kwarans to be patient with the government as it keeps on doing its best to improve welfare of the citizens and change the narratives of kwara as a whole.
