Kwara Gov distributes hybrid cocoa seedlings to farmers

The Kwara State Government has approved the distribution of hybrid cocoa seedlings to support cocoa farmers across the State.

This is contained in a statement issued by the state Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural development , Alhaji Muritala Olarewaju in Ilorin.

According to the statement the seedlings distribution exercise is part of the present administration's efforts to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 pandemic in the agriculture sector of the State.

The statement enjoined concerned individuals and Associations to ensure they make themselves available during the distribution of the hybrid seedlings.

It also urged them to use the seedlings given to them for the purpose it was meant for.
