It was with raged of storm and heavy downpour that affected various communities across the state. The heavy rainstorm blew off roofs, shattered electric poles leaving residents in total blackout and wandering around for an immediate shelter for their family.

The Hon commissioner for works and transport Eng Rotimi Iliasu visited some affected communities in Moro LG having news of damages the rainstorm caused. He went to Jebba to see the condition of houses blown off Shao where electric poles fell on the road, as well as Ejidongari. Several school roofs where blown off in Olooru and houses collapse in Alaasan. The Hon commissioner seeing these damages out of his humanitarian personalty Donated 13 concrete poles to Shao community, 50 concrete Poles to Eji-Dongari, and give cash relief to victims in Jebba, Gidaje, Afoda, Olori, and Olooru with thanks to HE Malam AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq, for giving bright youths the opportunity to serve, this is a call to everyone especially in this period of COVID-19 pandemic to come together and help our people across the state.
