Four remanded over burglary, robbery in Ilorin

The Magistrate Court Sitting in Ilorin the Kwara state capital has remanded one Ndubusi Ebuka,Adebayo Rafiu,Mukaila Ibrahim,Akeem Taiwo over shop breaking and armed robbery in Ilorin.

The Police First Information Report(FIR) revealed that the case was handed over to the Special anti-Robbery Squad(SARS) by the OdotaCommunity vigilante group led by one Onagun Rasheed.

It further stated that while on Community patrol along Odota at about 0115hr,one Ndubuai Ebuka was accused with a bag containing hot drinks,the sum of N4,000, some parks of cigarettes and weed suspected to be India Hemps.Ebuka led the Vigilante to the hideout of the other gang members where Tafiu,Taiwo and Ibrahim were arrested.

The FIR further revealed that investigation conducted at the SARS revealed that the hoodlums had committed other Crimea before now which include the vandalization of a shop belonging to one Bukola Adebisi where they cared away goods Worth's thousands of naira.

Also,the shop of Adegun Lateef who deals in rice and flour were broken on to where goods wortha million of naira were cated away.

The prosecutor Adewumi Johnson said investigation is still on going and pray the court for another date.

He said further that the FIR is backed up with a motion experte of 12 paragraphs deposed to by one Sergeant Idowu Gbolahan.He said a copy of the case file has been sent to the Ministry of Justice for lwga advice.

In his short ruling,Magistrate Abioye ordered remand of the defendants in Federal Prison custody while the case has been adjourned to 10th October,2019
