Biffo was previously assistant coach at the Ilorin club.
'The Afonja Warriors' announced his appointment today, adding that the other coaches in the team retain their positions.
He was recently linked with the top post at promoted Adamawa United.
He has previously headed Katsina United, Niger Tornadoes and Abia Warriors.
