As Nigerian Muslims are preparing for this year's Eid-el-Kabir celebration, a call has gone to Kwarans, particularly, the people of Ilorin Emirate to see the celebration as an avenue to come together for the progress of the State.

The call is contained in a statement jointly signed by the National President of the Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA), Alhaji Abdullahi Babatunde Salaudeen and the National Publicity Secretary of the Association, Alhaji Mohammed Uthman Jagunma in Ilorin.

The statement also enjoined them to be law abiding and security conscious both during and after the celebrations as progress and development can only thrive in an atmosphere of peace.

The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association rejoiced with the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari on the forthcoming Ilorin Emirate Dubar festival and commended the state government and the Dubar Committee on their activities for the success of the event.

The IEYDA therefore implored all sons and daughters of Ilorin Emirate home and abroad to grace the occasion for the unity and progress of the state.
