As Hundreds Of APC Supporters Defect To PDP The national leader of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) and Senate president, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki has put smiles on the faces of the people of Ojuekun/ Sarumi ward, Ilorin West local government area of Kwara state as he donated a solar motorized borehole to the community.

The donation of the solar motorized borehole followed a request by hundreds of former members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Ilorin West and East that decamped to the PDP. Saraki also donated 30 poles of solar streetlight to the area to improve security of lives and property.

In the same vein, the Senate President also donated a generating set to power the borehole at Ansarul Islam Primary School, Okekere, Ilorin which serves the school and its environ.

The spokesmen of the decampees scattering across Okekere, Ode Adana, Ibagun and Ojuekun/ Sarumi wards eulogised Saraki over his developmental stride.

The spokesmen of decampees who are former loyalists of Prof Shuaib AbdulRaheem are Lukman Salman from Oloje, Alhaja Ramata AbdulRahman from Ode Adana, Sakiru Saka, Ojuekun/ Sarumi ward, Babaniyi from Taiwo area, Laaro Eji from Ibagun ward and brahim Asileke, coordinator of Okekere youth vanguard. Asileke , specially thanked Saraki for his assistance to Ode Adana- Abata- Asunkere communiry during the flood disaster that ravaged the area recently. They pledged to deliver their various wards to the PDP during next year's general elections.
