The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association has congratulated the Muslim ummah over the successful completion of this year's Ramadan.

The Association, while thanking God Almighty, felicitated with the Emir of Ilorin, the entire Ilorin Emirate community and Kwara by extension for this year's Ramadan which has come and left behind lessons to increase our peity with the Almighty Allah.

The Association noted that this year's Eid-El-Fitr celebration has come with double blessings as it is marked on Friday with two Utbas and two ceremonial congregational prayers.

In a statement jointly signed by the National President and the National Publicity Secretary of Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association, Alhaji Abdullahi Babatunde Salahudeen and Alhaji Jagunmo Muhammad Uthman respectively, urged Muslims to be steadfast with the virtues of the Holy Month and not returned to their old ways after Ramadan. They emphasized that Ramadan has come to teach us lessons and those lessons shouldn't elude us after Ramadan.

They, however, prayed to God Almighty Allah to increase his blessings with sound health on the Emir of Ilorin. They prayed for continue peace unity and harmony for the entire Emirate community, Kwara and Nigeria in general. They equally prayed for divine guidance for the people in government to bring about more developments to the state and Nigeria in general.

The Association wished every Muslim a happy Eid-El-Fitr celebration.
